The academy is open to all denominations and faiths. Students between the ages of 11 and 17 years are welcome. RIA is a coeducational school.

All incoming students must have completed the first six years of basic education to be admitted into basic year 7 JSS 1.

Direct entry into senior secondary school (SS1) only will be strictly monitored, when the academy attains that level.

Students who attend and graduate from RIA, will have the advantage of having well-grounded vocational skills, which they may pursue or hold unto as hobbies. Since the core the subjects for each of the trade categories can easily be switched to an entirely different career goal. RIA graduants would be in a position to make academy choices that their grammar school counter parts cannot make. They will have the best of all worlds.

Fees

Fees in RIA will be fairly moderate taking into consideration, all that the academy has to offer.
